Natural Cures for Syphilis
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by a bacterial infection contracted during unprotected sex, usually with a partner who is already infected with the disease. It is one of the most serious STDs and, if left untreated, can result in the progressive deterioration of one's physical and mental health, and even death.
Note: Syphilis should be treated immediately. Because of the many variables and potential problems associated with any type of STD, a trained health professional should be consulted if infection is suspected.
The symptoms of syphilis are chronic and recurring. Each occurrence progresses through three distinct stages. In the first stage, skin lesions occur within two to four weeks following infection. Usually, the lesion will initially present itself as a small reddish bump or ulcer that can eventually harden. Within two weeks of such an outbreak, the lymph nodes can become swollen, as well.
In the second stage, the lesions may disappear, to be followed by a variety of health symptoms that can be mistaken for other diseases. For this reason, syphilis is often referred to as the "great imitator." Symptoms during the second stage include headache, fever, and fatigue, as well as outbreaks of small reddish brown spots on the skin. Typically, these symptoms lessen within a few weeks, but can recur later on.
The third stage of syphilis symptoms typically do not occur for many years after the initial infection. At this stage, the heart, blood vessels, and central nervous system can be affected, leading to severe physical and mental degeneration, followed by death.
There are natural cures for Syphilis that do not involve the use of pharmaceutical drugs. They involve restoring the biochemical balance of the body, and making dietary and lifestyle changes designed to improve one's general health.
