my friend has an addiction to methadone, which the doctors keep her on, saying it’s better than her previous heroin addiction. my brother insists that methodone is harder to get off of than heroin and the doctors are nothing more than legal pushers. Every time she trys to quit she has convulsions. Is there a natural cure?

When I was 28 years old ( 65 now ) I was addicted to tobacco and alcohol and wasn’t going to a church or anything like that. I drank because I couldn’t handle the pressures of life. Then I felt a force from without myself giving me the strength to go longer and longer before i would go get drunk. One day I was stressed out because the wife and I were fighting and she dropped me off at the launderomat and there was a bar next door and I went and stood in the doorway of that bar and said to myself, ” I don’t want this anymore”. I had an aunt who had taken me to a Baptist church for about a year when I was 10 years old and that was all I knew. So I knew I hadn’t stopped in my own strength and went to the nearest Baptist church and when that pastor gave the alter call I went down front and felt all my sins lift off my shoulders like a giant weight. Right then and there God delivered me from alcohol. I was working at a car dealer and another brother who worked there told me about a verse of scripture that said ” If two of you shall agree as asking anything from God He will do it” I said great less you and me agree that God is going to deliver us from smoking. So we said our little prayer and Sunday night I smoked my little brains out and threw all my smokes away. Monday morning I was walking inside the dealership and the desire for a smoke hit me but before I could make a beeline for the cigarette machine these words came out of my mouth ” Jesus says I don’t have to be a slave to that anymore” I hadn’t thought them, they just came out. The desire for a cigarette went away and I haven’t smoked one to this day, no with drawels or anything. Now the other brother didn’t get delivered and the reason why is because he liked his cigarettes to much. I was sick of them and didn’t enjoy them anymore. God can and will deliver some, those who take a chance and believe in Him.

I am an addict since I was about 20 in which it has just excelled from weed, alcohol, coke, now meth and alchohol. I need sedatives to calm my anxiety. I am so stressed I only gain weight from the cortisol. My body is tense. I am a mother. I can’t even take care of myself let alone my kids. I am paranoid and everywhere I go I am positive people are judging me or talking about me. Drugs or no drugs. Bipolar. Meds don’t help. Going down fast. Where do I start. Suicidal thinking. Losing hope. Guilt, and shame. Disgust and pathetic cries for love from men who don’t even care. Master Cleanse? I am on SSI. Rent is 625 and check is 925. Not much left. I don’t think I can afford expensive cures. Please help. I feel in my heavy heart I AM dying. Spiritually and so forth. Please help.

Hi! I am one of those health freaks that wants to be in total control of my brain at all times. I have never done drugs, drank alcohol, take any pain killers, however, I am hooked to caffeen and Cigarretes. Even though I am now thinking of switching to ORGANIC tabbacco, and Organic Coffee, I know I am still addicted. I think is more habbit and addiction.

Does anybody know if the dosages for the amino acid therapy are correct? especially the DL-Phenylalanine(DLPA) 750mg 3x/day = 2250mg/day and the 5-HTP 500mg 3x/day = 1500mg/day. the recommended for 5-htp is 200mg/day and for DLPA the recomended is 1200mg-1600mg/day.

Ive been a smoker for 10 years and I have never gone a single day without smoking. I found Lobelia extremely helpful for suppressing cravings. Im going to try acupuncture and aromatherapy.

I can tell you from experience that the nutritional approach for curing alcoholism works. I suffered for over 20 years with the traditional and accepted treatments. I had to dig really deep to find the truth because it has been censored so well. But after I corrected my biochemistry and re-nourished my body, the cravings went away. I am also on a no-sugar diet which is essential to keep my blood sugar levels stable.

I am so excited about discovering this natural cure, that I started my own website…

Hi, I too have been on painkillers on and off for about 15 years. I was off for about 1 and half years then went back on. Now I have been off of them for 4 months I am doing it alone but I listen to all the talk radio health show. I started MSM and it really worked like a miracle for my pain. but then I had to stop because it made my blood pressure go up. The is a book that has these excercise for specific area of pain called Tell Me Where It Hurts and I’ll tell You What To Do. by Peggy Brill hope this helps you !!!

I had back surgery and know first hand what you are going through.I weened myself down.Start off breaking the pills in half. 1/2 of the 20mg pill 3 times a day. You can NOT just stop taking them. I am down to 5mg. 1 pill every other day or so. Sometimes several days NO PILLS.
