Allergies – Find a Natural Cure

Overview

Allergies are adverse immune system reactions to a substance that would normally be considered harmless. Allergic reactions are caused by exposure to allergens. An allergen is a protein that the body judges to be foreign and dangerous. Possible allergens include specific foods, environmental toxins, pollens, moulds, mites, animal dander and a host of other irritants. Once exposed to an allergen, the immune system releases specific antibodies to destroy the enemy allergen, setting in motion a complex series of events involving many bio-chemicals...

    Salut Thierry,

    Merci
    Qam

Kari, Thanks for your recommendations. I did a lot of research into energy healing and NAET. I happened to find an energy healer that did something like NAET but used no acupuncture. It has worked tremendously. I learned that I was allergic to well over 100 different things. My body was in an overloaded allergy state. In my first visit, I was able to stop using the long term inhalers but occasionally would use the acute inhaler. Over the course of 4 months I am not allergic to the dog anymore. Better than that, she cleared allergies that were seasonal that I have had all my life. Thanks again. I truly recommend NAET, you can do a search to learn more.

I am renting an old homee temporarily (built late 1800′s) and I think I am experiencing mold or dust symptoms. I have a scratchy throat where I have to clear it frequently; sometimes I sneeze, my nose runs, and my eyes get slightly itchy. I plan to invest in a good air purifier (non filter kind) to see if symptoms improve and will make an appointment with a doctor if I have to. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you, Lynda

He has problems with his bowels and is living on pain killers which are causing him to be depressed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was hoping for some information concerning MOLD specifically. I am already doing most of the recommendations and have been for quite some time. I will add apple cider vinegar back in as well. I stay healthy year long until I am exposed to any type of MOLD. This time it was from a hotel I stayed in for two days. Nice hotel but old historic area with MOLD…Last time was visiting a winery and the mold in basement was hideous! Any suggestions particuarly for MOLD allergies???

  12. m.smith / March 28, 2012, 2:46 am

    Hi Kari,

    Thanks for the information!! :)

    Regards!
    Marley

  13. Kari Johansen / February 14, 2012, 8:27 am

As pointed out above by Marley. Apple Cider vinegar may be the best thing out there! Suck it up and take a shot of it each day. ;) It’s GOOD for you regardless of allergies, and after doing it for a while it will become a habit and won’t taste over-powering at all.
Aside from this it is a good idea to do an elimination diet to pinpoint what is causing your immune system to go into high gear. You may be surprised but it’s not the DOG! The dog is only making you aware of something else via the physical symptoms. If you love the dog keep him. It WILL all work out. NOTE: If you don’t want to do the elimination diet then go to a naturopath and have an allergy test done – NOT the traditional western allergy test as would be referred by your doctor… But the Naturopath will likely tell you to eliminate all the same foods that are in a typical “elimination diet”.
I also mentioned in an earlier post the power of Nettles. Both capsule and liquid are beneficial but I found the liquid more potent (easily absorbed). AWESOME for allergies
Finally, the LEAST conventional approach. Find an energy healer of some sort that has worked with allergies before. EVERYTHING that shows itself on the outside starts with our vibration/energy. Correct that and the cause is gone.
    My best to you,
    Kari

I have pet induced allergies. I have had 2 dogs in the past and became used to them with no asthma side effects. It has been 13 years since then, I bought my wife an English Bulldog for christmas. We have been bathing her weekly and cleaning frequently. She’s not allowed in the office nor bedroom and we have 1 room with wall to wall carpet. After 5 weeks with having the dog my asthma symptoms returned. I visited the doctor, he recommended giving the dog up. We both have grown close to the dog so that is a last resort. He prescribed me 2 inhalers, Symbacort and albuterol. He suggested that I take desensitizing allergy shots. I could’t find much in allergy or asthma section. Any suggestions?

  15. m.smith / January 12, 2012, 1:36 am

A clean environment: The best way to avoid allergy symptoms is prevention. Finding the right environment can be a game of avoidance and careful planning. At home this can mean a quality air purifier and regularly changing your air filters. It also means avoiding the use of chemicals and living a greener lifestyle.

A Healthy Liver: The liver is important to keep clean and healthy, as excess toxins can contribute to allergies by producing histamines. There are a variety of supplements and herbs aimed at promoting liver health, such as milk thistle, fruit juices, and natural detoxification.

A naturally healthy: diet A healthy diet is a staple in any healthy living initiative. As a natural cure for allergies, your diet is of paramount importance. Avoid processed foods, as they add toxins to your liver. Natural and organic foods have been proven to keep your body cleaner, healthier, and more able to handle allergy causing substances.

Natural Juices An easy and effective method to naturally cure allergies is to drink fruit and vegetable juices. Drinking a mixture fruit and vegetable juices has been shown to alleviate symptoms.

Apple Cider Vinegar: When used as a daily supplement or even at the first signs of an allergic reaction, apple cider vinegar may be the most effective natural cure for allergies on the market! Known for its ability to stop the histamine build up, it can be added to your water or juices up to three times a day for effective relief.

Kevin also recommends that when cleansing you first do the Colon Cleanse first as this is the most important and helps the rest of the cleanses to work properly.

    Kind Regards

    Marley

Does any one know of a cure for allergies to metal touching the skin and causing burns – metals such as gold, silver, nickel? I am unable to wear any jewellery, watches etc. even the metal backing on my jeans button causes a reaction. And no I am not a werewolf – LOL! All females in my family have this same reaction going back as far as my maternal grandmother, however I have the worst reaction. I do not want to ruin jewellery by putting clear nailpolish all over everything. Suggestions please?

I’ve studied natural healing for 11 years. I appreciate all of the information here and I’m very grateful to have it available to me and my family.
I suffered from allergies for many years (hay-fever, dust, animal dander affecting my sinuses quite severely). After doing an intense Candida cleanse the symptoms vanished – never to be seen again as of the last 10 years. (This was the inspiration for my studies). I had a mild flair-up while under significant mental & emotional stress as well as a particularly bad pollen season. I used Stinging Nettle juice: Awesome! ;)

Sorry for the delay. I take Jade Grenzymes from Nikken one time daily and then twice a day during allergy season or when I start to feel symptoms.

Looks like others have had similar experiences with other green products. Very interesting.

    Cheers.

I’ve had horrible allergies ever since I was young and even took allergy shots for some time (which helped a little, but then I decided I didn’t want to do them anymore). Last spring (2010) was my first spring that I didn’t have to take any medication for my allergies. What helped me was taking local bee pollen-a spoonful a day, taking local honey in my tea, and taking a shower immediately when I woke up, before I went to bed, and if I had been outdoors for a long time (mowing the lawn or something). ALthough not entirely banished, my allergies were definitely bearable. I think the bee pollen was the most helpful-but you have to take it every day and begin long before the allergy season starts (I think i started taking it in december ’09 and it helped me that spring). I didn’t take as much of that this year, but i have been using a lot of local honey… I hope this works as well for you as it has for me… :)

Hi I used to have bad allergies (sneezing, runny nose, itching eyes, etc) during the spring and summer but now have been able to significantly reduce it with a natural supplement. I used to take Claritin all the time and now never take anything the whole allergy season. Hopefully others can benefit from this as well. Please let me know if anyone is interested.

  37. tamara.rogers / January 16, 2011, 4:11 am

    Excellent Data.

The Natural Cure is in the fine print… (the section obviously is missing)
However, they spoke of two main causes, environment and digestion. Think of it like a weighing scale. You are doing good things and bad things for your body – So now you are going to, one at a time, start moving pebbles over to the “good” side of the weigh scale.

Environment: may be the easy one. Are you cleaning your clothes in natural products, not using dryer sheets, etc. What creams/shampoos/soaps are you using on your body? What chemicals are you using around your house, dust mites in the sheets etc.
Digestion: Food – You are what you eat. Your cells are working with the food energy and environment you have created.

Yes, Go Organic as much as you can. In other section they describe the Raw Food Diet (said to cure many many ailments). However, even a valuable diet such as Raw Food needs help with the digestive enzymes. Digestion is the key. It will rebuild the body by allowing it to absorb of all the good stuff.

In the case of a small child, you may think, “isn’t that child starting with a clean slate of health”??? We are a product of our parents, and so on. So your grandparents eating/environment affected their cells, affected your parents who likely repeated or added to the poor environment (by way of what is offered in our standard grocery stores), and you followed suit, and your child is a product. Thus, the weakend state of the childs cellular system.

Now is your chance to turn that cycle around. You are gaining an understanding. You can now create an environment where each generation is stronger/better!! Learn, Learn, Learn! Enjoy! The puzzle is reavealing the picture to you now ;D:D

O.K. Have they changed up everything on the website? Where is the part where “cures” are discussed? The definitions were good, however.
