Bladder Infection also known as urinary tract infection or cystitis, in which irritation occurs anywhere within the urinary tract, from the urethra all the way to the end of the bladder lining. This condition affects over two million people in the United States each year, most of whom are women. It is most common in women who are sexually active and women who have entered menopause. It's estimated that half of all women in the UK will have a UTI at least once in their life and one out of every 2,000 healthy men will develop one each year. Urinary tract infection can be recurring, chronic, or relegated to a single episode which, when properly treated, does not return...

    Hi Wendy,

The support team are not practitioners so we are not able to guide you on how much medication you should take.
Please can we ask you to do this under the guidance on a practitioner.

    Hi Wendy,

ACV can be used in the treatment of a UTI, it would be best to check with your local holistic practitioner to see if that would be a suitable treatment for yourself.

    Thanks

I read this in a “home remedy” book some time ago. I am plagued by UTI’s also, but this really works great. Take the Alka-Seltzer, put it in a glass of water and drink, presto, the bubbles must bubble out the infection. UTI gone. Just like that. I consider this to be one of my best finds, cheap, easy, works immediately. I got a systemic yeast infection from so many antibiotics, and it was beastly to get rid of, but I did it. Now, no more UTI’s. I keep alka-seltzer around always.

I highly recommend wild oregano oil at a high concentration. there is a site: http://sweet-cures.com/ which is incredible at helping with solutions, it also has some interesting information regarding cranberry, as it can actually cause an acidic environment which isnt ideal, as the key is to keep it alkaline.

    Hi Ravi,

Regrettably, we currenlty have little information on Neurogenic Bladder, however we will look into adding this condition in the future!

In the interim, please check out our online Doctor Referral service:

    Hello,

Is there any thread on “Neurogenic Bladder”. My wife has been suffering since a year now, and the condition is thought to be a Neurogenic bladder.

    Thanks.

my daughter had m any bladder infections when she was young due to a valve issue .. she has since grown out of this but we had been very concerned about all the antibiotics .. we tried UVA URSI along with MALLOW (to make it easier on the stomach) and it works like a charm! unsweetened cranberry concentrate added to water helped as well.

I have a prolapse and some other manifestation that is causing me to ‘go’ at least 20 times per day. It is less disruptive at night. Please advise. (I have ceramic floors and I am wondering if I am somehow disengaging the uterus by virtue if the pressure to my organs)
