Pair of black glasses

Nearsightedness, also known as myopia, is a condition characterized by an inability to properly see clearly when looking at objects at a mid- or far distance, while the ability to see clearly up close is unaffected. Nearsightedness occurs because light rays containing visual images fall in front of the retina instead of on it, making it difficult to properly see at a distance. All that conventional medicine can offer as treatments for nearsightedness are corrective prescription lenses (glasses or contact lenses) or surgery (Lasik and PRK). [divider]. [tabs]...

Wow, this is really interesting stuff! I’m so glad I found this information.
I was born with cataracts and had surgery at 3months old to remove it. At 12 yrs. old I developed Glaucoma and also had surgery to correct it. What’s interesting to me is that in my early twenties I started taking martial arts and removing my prescription glasses when I trained, only to find out a year and some months later when I visited the eye doctor, that my eye sight had dramatically improved, however I am still nearsighted. I believe with this information I can actually start working towards improving my eye sight even more. One day in the not so distant future I will have 20/20 vision without wearing any type of prescription lenses.
