Dr. Tom Drost

Dr. Drost graduated with a BS degree in physiology/zoology (premed) from the University of Wyoming in 1981. He played varsity football and graduated from College of Arts and Sciences as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MD from the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine in 1985 and completed a General Surgery Residency and Trauma Research Fellowship at the University of South Florida in 1991. He is a board certified in surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Major Drost was a general surgeon in the medical corps of the United States Army from 1991 to 1995 and was stationed in Bremerhaven and Landstuhl, Germany. During that time he was deployed multiple times as a Chief of Surgery of the 502nd MASH.

After an honorable discharge from the Army, he entered into private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada as a general surgeon until the summer of 1999, when he left to attend Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Drost earned a four year naturopathic medical degree (ND) from Bastyr University in 2003.

Dr. Drost has established a naturopathic/alternative medical practice in Wheaton, IL specializing in detoxification and weight loss using HCG.

He and his wife, Lisa, also a naturopathic physician, have a young daughter. Dr. Drost and his family participate in health and fitness activities, gardening, travelling extensively, and love to cook and entertain friends and family.
