All Fruit Sorbet, Dairy Free
This delightful treat has endless variations. The options depend on the natural flavor and intensity of the fruit, and your sweet tooth. You may not require any sweetener at all!
- 5 C organic watermelon, or peeled & pitted stone fruit
- 1 C pure water, coldor
- 1 C organic fruit juice, cold (tangerine is great)
- 2 tbsp organic, fresh lime juice
organic, raw sugar to taste or stevia to taste (a few drops)
Combine ingredients in a food processor and blend well. Taste. Add sweetener now, if desired.
Have ice cream maker assembled and ready to go. Follow the operational instructions; when finished, put the sorbet in a container and freeze. When ready to use, remove from freezer and leave in frig for about 20 minutes or until softened enough to scoop.
Alternatively, the sorbet may be put in an ice cube tray to freeze. When partially frozen, insert a stick into each cube for a handle. Perfect on a hot afternoon as a quick cool treat.
|8 oz||organic cream cheese, softened|
|4 tbsp||organic butter, softened|
Cream all ingredients until smooth. Add more honey if desired. Spread between layers and on top.
